Since he was young, Dennys has shown perseverance and hard work in all aspects of his life. Being a collegiate football player and a 2-time Golden Gloves winning professional boxer has molded Dennys into the hard working individual he is today.
With over 10 years of experience as a Personal Trainer, Dennys loves programming workouts that push you outside of your comfort zone and is committed to the success and growth of every person he trains. Most importantly, Dennys is always working to motivate and inspire others to go out and live their dreams.
Dennys has also worked at Under Armour/IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL and Minneapolis, MN with professional athletes from the Minnesota Twins (MLB), Timberwolves (NBA), Vikings (NFL), and Wild (NHL). Dennys is a Nike Trainer and member of the Men’s Health Fitness Council. He is dedicated to continuing to grow his knowledge of functional fitness and is constantly continuing his certifications across various specialties.
When he is not teaching classes or coaching, Dennys enjoys watching football (his favorite college team is the Florida State Seminoles), throwing around weights at a Crossfit box, boxing, and training fighters on strength and conditioning. He’s always been an athlete so whether it’s playing a game of flag football, softball, or basketball, you will always find him being active and competing.

Jake Gyllenhaal because I worked with him for his upcoming boxing movie "Southpaw" and he's incredibly hard working and humble.

Getting in a good WOD (workout of the day) and watching football
11 Most challenging exercise movement and why?
Man Makers - This complex/compound exercise tests your strength, core, stability, endurance, and mental toughness. It is a total full body exercise that will leave you breathing hard, sweaty, and sore! I love me some man makers!

Turkey burgers and kale

Nike, specifically Nike Metcons 1, 2 and 3 as well as the Nike Flyknit
15 Your biggest accomplishment?
I have two. Fighting at Madison Square Garden three times, once as a professional and twice as an amateur in the Golden Gloves finals (both wins!) and being selected to be a Nike Trainer.
16 Best vacation you have ever taken?
I loved visiting Puerto Rico, I really got to know and understand my heritage and how Puerto Ricans came to be. I'm a history fanatic. On to Italy this summer!

Dana White from the UFC- just to pick his brain on how he took the UFC from the small stage to the grand stage, the trials and tribulations on his journey and if he ever envisioned it to be what it is now.

I love Spanish food, specifically Puerto Rican. I also have a soft spot for Italian food.
